As the project’s architect, we designed the remodel of the former Johnson Outdoors building in Mankato to create Herdstar Manufacturing’s new office and production space. The renovation opened up the existing interior stair to establish a more connected, collaborative experience between the two floors. We designed new offices, a print room, coffee station, kitchenette, conference room, and integrated manufacturing, shipping, and receiving areas. Warm, modern finishes were used throughout to create an inviting workplace that supports both office and industrial functions.

As the project’s architect, we designed the interior remodel of Malterer Mechanical’s new office space, transforming an existing building into a modern, efficient workplace. The design highlights the company’s mechanical systems as a visible feature, showcasing their expertise as part of the architecture itself. The renovated space includes a new breakroom, updated bathrooms, a conference room, glass fronted offices, a print station, and other collaborative work areas—all planned to reflect the company’s identity and support future growth.

As the project’s architect, we designed the new construction of New Tec’s corporate headquarters, featuring an open industrial floor plan that supports both office operations and heavy equipment functions. The facility was planned to accommodate the refurbishing of construction equipment as well as dealership activities, integrating flexible work areas, durable materials, and efficient circulation to support equipment movement, servicing, and display. The result is a modern, purpose built environment tailored to New Tec’s operational needs and brand identity.

As the project’s architect, we designed the complete remodel of the existing two story office areas, employee locker room, and break space. Our design transformed the original 1980s office environment by creating a new entrance sequence, integrating a new elevator, and developing modern office spaces, collaboration rooms, biophilic design with a live wall, upgraded locker room, and new kitchen and dining areas. We also designed new storefront window systems and improvements to the building enclosure to enhance natural light, energy efficiency, and overall comfort.

As the project’s architect, we were engaged immediately after a snowstorm that caused the collapse of the McNeilus Truck manufacturing center’s office building and a portion of the production facility. Working closely with the contractor team as they stabilized and demolished the damaged areas, we led the redesign of the manufacturing space and the development of a new two story office building. The rebuilt office includes workspaces for engineering staff and facility managers, a new breakroom and restrooms, three small training rooms, and a large two story training area designed to accommodate full size trucks for hands on instruction and demonstrations.
