We provided full architectural services that included new IAQ upgrades and interior finishes throughout the existing building. Our design incorporated a new two story secured entrance addition with administrative offices on the first floor and a STEM lab/classroom on the second. A second addition on the south side created a new pre-school wing.

As the project’s architect, we designed the interior remodel that transformed an existing space into the new Minnesota State University, Mankato E Sports Lab. Our goal was to create an energetic, competition ready environment featuring bold colors, dynamic lighting, and a modern aesthetic that reflects the fast paced world of gaming. The design includes a dedicated platform for the gaming athletes, a flexible viewing area that can open for spectators during events, and upgraded finishes and lighting throughout. We also planned the layout with intentional room for future program growth, ensuring the space can evolve with the expanding e sports program.

As the project’s architect, we redesigned the lower level of Covenant Hall to transform an aging dormitory into a brighter, more functional living environment for students. The renovation introduced new dorm rooms, an updated lobby, a game and social area, improved showers and restrooms, and enhanced circulation throughout the space. We added a sunken exterior plaza which added daylight access and egress converting it into a usable amenity that brings natural light deeper into the lower level while providing safe, efficient exit routes. The result is a refreshed, student centered residence hall that feels more open, welcoming, and connected to campus life.
